I am looking at picking up a JK unlimited possibly, what years should a guy stay away from and any features one should look for or signs to watch out for. I have my eye on a 2012 unlimited sahara, 40000 km, its not a rubicon but it wont be "wheeled" for a few years or until I stumble into some superduty diffs.

2012+ for sure... There isn't any big "gotcha" years with the JK so no worries there. The 2013 added individual TPMS sensors and auto dimming rear view mirror, but that's about it...

You can put in a momentary switch on one wire that completely disables ALL the traction control and such..... Just make sure it is hidden if you take it in for service at the dealer. Lol

Some early 3.6's supposedly have cylinder head issues but that would be a warranty thing. As well, there seems to be an ongoing problem with casting sand left in the engine block taking out the heater core and cooling system. The acronyms will drive you nuts esp. in the winter.

Hmm, just gonna feel around for now. We don't like our trailblazer but it's not costing anything more than fuel right now. May look into a newer camper for the truck and ride out the blazer for another season and watch for a deal. Not a fan of payments.

We just sold our black JK ruby for $25000 it only had 10,000 km on it. Where are you thinking of getting a camper at? Might get a better deal if we buy at the same spot.

Thats a smokin good deal. we were looking at a 2012 with 40,000k, nav but no heated seats black sahara at 32500. Not many out there right now. I would like a wrecked JK and roll superduty diffs under it and a 6.0L chev under the hood.

We are looking at fraser way rv at adventurer campers in the 8-9' range. Dont have any preference in dealers and have been looking in 'merica at campers to but they are similar price for what we want and no warranty if you buy down there.
