Well I am now in the market to upgrade the rear axle of my 2016 jku today while my wife was driving down hiway 2 to come pick me up from the airport the drivers side rear axle decided that it did not like my jeep anymore. Looks like wheelbearing went but going down the hiway and having a rear wheel fall off did no wonders to the axle housing which is now shot as well. I giving mad props to my wife who was able to keep the jeep under control and upright and get it into the ditch to stop . That being said any thoughts on rear axle housings and the rest might as well upgrade now rather than later and is it worth going selectable locker or go with a auburn ected or similar lsd? Was looking at buying a complete axle assembly that upgrades everything depending on price any input would be awesome as I know some but there is a lot of people that deal with this a lot more.

Mike Lodwwyk (Graveltravels) has some G2 axles for sale from his JK. Might want to hit him up if he still has em.

Ok was looking at going to possibly a currie rock jock 60 or dynatrac 60 is it worth upgrading or is sticking to a 44 all I should need ? How are the G2 for quality wise ? Don't want to put a 44 in then a year later decide that is not enough.

If you plan to go 37's or higher in tires, then do a 60. Otherwise save your money and stick with a 44. Dynatrac and Currie 60s are now like light bars, everyone figures they NEED one.

Mikes diffs are still available. He just doesn't own them anymore. Front is a G2 core 44 with the strength of a 60. And is brand new as it was warrantied and never used after. The rear is a 60 and both have rubicon lockers in them. Give me a call for more info if you like. 403-392-2269.

When is a good time to contact you and talk about the axles ? Are the rubicon lockers able to be used in a non rubicon jeep?
