Thinking about upgrading the suspension on my TJ , the PO installed ProComp lift has its limitations and would like to upgrade to something better. I have a few in mind. any advice ? as well , do any of you guys /gals like doing this type of work. I've done a few lifts in the past , but would like to make sure its done right. I have no fabrication equipment, and don't currently have a lot of room either.
Thanks, Mike..

What are after as far as performance? What are you not happy with? Rather than go custom there are alot of great performing systems available over the counter for the TJs. Research long arm systems. Teraflex has some good setups.

I am looking for something that will offer more flex , a better quality of ride and last . The Procomp lift doesn't flex all that much , rides like crap and looks like it has been thru a salt factory. Biggest tire I could conceivably imagine would be a 37, but that's way down the road. Currently run 35's and that will due for the time being. How much FAB work is involved with the long arm kits ?

Some are bolt in. Some are weld only. Ya judging by your desire for ride quality, i would highly recommend a long arm kit. Just research as much as you can and dont rush into it.
