We are going to do a turkey run west of Caroline on the thanksgiving weekend .Going to scope out some trails in the swan lake area. people interested in camping on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night can find the campsite real easy. just go to the hwy 22 junction west of Caroline , head west on hwy 591 for 12 km and you will see a big stick with a flag and a packrat sign on the left head side of the road. it is a big area with trees for shelter and we will tarp it all in once again like last year and make it cozy. I will bring the turkey, Doug is bringing the deep fryer and oil, we need people to bring side dishes, deserts and salads. Kinda nice to know who is bringing what and how many people are coming, either chime in on this post or face book on the packrats turkey run post. The rigs will leave camp at 10 sharp on Saturday morning heading to swan lake. Sunday we will do a run or 2 around camp as there some short stock friendly trails that are well treed. Sunday night we will do up the big supper, please let us know if you are coming so we know whether or not to we need to bring more birds.

We are contemplating pushing the run on Saturday a couple of hours back, if people are setting up camp on Saturday morning. Chime in on your thoughts of a start time. If needed we could start after lunch to accommodate.

Looks like we are keeping the 10 am start time , turkey for supper Saturday night so some of us will be hanging out at camp cooking supper. Hopefully the run goes smooth to Swan lake and back in time for supper.
