Hoping to get a run organized for late November/early December and was wondering what weekend would work best for most "members".

I am good for any weekend and from what I am hearing there are five different packrats so far that can make the first weekend in December work. We just got to decide which day, time and place. If everyone buys their permit on line we can go directly to the run.

Sounds good Bob. I should have tires under mine this weekend and then I hope to go for a shake down run next weekend and possibly spot some trees. I was thinking west from the james river bridge past dougs old place around burnt lake? area. seem to remember lots of little trees that way.

Do you guys mind if people who are not getting tree's come just for the run?

In NASCAR, you don't have to be as physically strong as in some other forms of racing. You've just got to be able to endure the heat and endurance of it.

I don't see that being an issue. May be a slow going day with breaks and such for cutting and kids playing. Wouldn't make to much of a difference if you didn't want to cut a tree. Haha

You can always pick a tree for a friend or family member, yard ornament or fire wood.

We awesomely have our tree up already so we will be along for entertainment and snow wheeling! Looking forward to sliding around in the snow.
