Transporting Parts

Postby dunl » Tue Jan 13, 2009 10:23 pm

This forum is for members to post when they require transport of parts from another area of Alberta. Sometimes there's something in Edmonton or Calgary that you'd like, but you're not planning to go there anytime soon. Throw up a post and see if someone going that way can pick it up for you.

Some rules to follow:

1) Be reasonable. If someone agrees to toss a steering box into the trunk of their car for you, please don't reply back and ask if they can pick up that 440 big block that you just found as well.

2) The larger the part or inconvenience, the more you should be willing to toss in some gas money. Most people are willing to pick up something not to far out of their way without reimbursement, but that doesn't mean it should always be taken advantage of (especially if they are bringing you something like that 440 big block engine).

3)Please handle the money transactions yourself. Don't expect people to pay for items that you want delivered and then you pay them back.

4) Red Deer Packrats is not liable for any problems you encounter due to using this forum. It is simply set up as a courtesy to help members interact with others who may be able to help them source parts.

Thanks all,
Darcy
