I picked up an antique commando style military knife, and I'm planning to use it on a survival weekend course with the Canadian Rangers in January. Basically, it's a weekend in Valleyview with your clothes, sleeping bag, and a good knife. Oh....there will be snow too.

Can someone recommend a good knife sharpener in the area who can put a solid edge on this piece that will last? I just haven't practiced sharpening enough to do it myself, and I don't want to trust this piece with just anyone. Actually, if anyone knows of a sword sharpener in the area that would probably work.

Try "The Cutting Edge" in Red Deer. He's been around for along time. He does restaurants and stuff. 403-343-6276
