What I've done so far
Brake job all round
New stereo and speakers
Replaced many U-joints
Got a hardtop
New tires! BFG KM2's 33/12.5/15R
New head lights H4
Fabbed up a bullbar thing
Cleaned up winch (full of mud, lol)
Steering box skid
New fender flares, Rubicon takeoffs

Previous owner had said that it had a clutch problem, so I set out to fix this...
Flushed tranny, and new oil. Boy did it shift smooth after that! Still didn't do much with the clutch problem.
Slave cylinder replaced and bled many times. Still didn't work...
Took her to a shop to see what the problem was. Apparently the transmission had been submerged under water at some point. No surprise there lol. Needed a whole clutch job. With that fixed she ran smoothly again.

Putting on new flares (not a fun task)

New flares and roof here: (Ruby falls run)

Bullbar thing i made : (most resent photo)

Relocating the winch solenoid under the hood. Need to build a frame for it and get some cable.

Still working on the idle problem. When it's cold out (-10 or colder) it doesn't like to maintain idle and drops down to about 200rpm and stutters. Holding the gas for a couple of minutes while it warms up seems to help. Once it's warmed up it's good to go though. If anyone has a clue what this might be, let me know.

Looking to get a regear done in the near future.

Also looking to do a SYE. If anyone has adjustable upper control arms for the rear I might be interested.

Thanks! But we still traded fair and square! You didn't even have to put fender flares on yours.
Also thanks for helping me with pretty much everything else on the jeep, haha. :D

Lookin good Pat! I won't be able to recognize it soon. I'm surprised to hear about the clutch, it was pretty much brand new. Glad you got it figured. As far as the idling I think the idle control has something to do with the ecu. I could be wrong but worth looking into.

In the past couple of months got some more stuff done.
Got the winch back up and running with some help from dad!
Got a newer, non-bent, transfercase skid from Ian. Put that in and was able to take out some of the spacers between that and the frame, no vibes yet...
Also I've been machining a shift knob in fab class. Finished it up just last week.
I pressed a brass bar into a bored out aluminium bar. Cut it down to shape with a metal lathe, knurled, and sandblasted it.

Next up is to put in the zj tierod. Thanks again Ian!
